August Update
We have moved to Mexico! I was down here starting July 9th. Then, after my FM3 was completed I went back to the states. It was August 4th when I flew back. Between the 4th and 8th our house was packed and we completed everything necessary to leave the country. We flew down on the 8th. We are in our temporary apartment (the one we picked out from our look-see visit and that I was in for a month alone) as we wait for the company to work through some lease agreements with the owners of a few houses we want. Treyton started school on August 16th and is doing a great job. He is taking the bus every day too. Jana has made some friends here as the ex-pat community is pretty well connected. Baedon and Greyson are loving it too. It rains all the time since it´s the rainy season but that´s ok…we do like the rain. I work A LOT, but that´s part of the deal. It´s a great adventure and we´re loving every minute of it. We have our live-in maid and our driver and they are both working out nicely. There is so much to see and do here so we´re pretty excited. Now, it will be hard to keep up on two blogs so we are posting all of our Mexico Adventure content on our new blog that is dedicated to the move and our time in Mexico. July Update
Once we got back from Lake Havasu we headed to Grandma D’s for her birthday. This was our last hurrah in the states before I shipped out. We got home on 7/6 and I left for Mexico on the 9th. I’ve been in Mexico 15 days now and will be here until at least 8/4 when I am planning to head back to the states for a few days to orchestrate the move and fly back down with Jana and the boys. I’ve been working down here and trying to learn the lay of the land whilst Jana is at home busy with the boys and preparing everything for the move. We are planning on renting and hope to have tenants by September. Most of our updates, if not all of them, will be on our Mexico Blog. Hope to post some pictures of our 4th of July weekend with Grandma and Grammie and Grandad. Again, for updates, check the Project Mariposa blog.
